FAQ

Prior to Your Appointment

Our company has over 25 years experience and is dedicated to providing you with the best quality cleaning at an affordable price.
petAbsolutely! We use only safe and environmentally friendly cleaning products. In addition, we have Manufacturers’ Safety Data Sheets on all of the products that we use so, if there are any questions, we are happy to provide health and safety information.
Yes, we would prefer the carpets be vacuumed prior to our arrival. Vacuuming the carpets will remove the surface dirt and dust particles so that we can concentrate on getting your carpets clean deep down at the base. If you are unable to vacuum, please let us know at the time of scheduling your appointment so we may allow additional time. There will also be an extra cost for this service.
Yes, we would prefer the upholstery to be thoroughly vacuumed prior to our arrival. We also like to request that seat cushions be removed and any soil, coins or other objects be vacuumed or picked up.
We like to ask, if possible, that the customer move the lighter objects off the carpeted areas before we arrive. Examples would be floor lamps, dining chairs, plants, and whatever else you can comfortably remove. We clean around all large, heavy pieces of furniture such as beds, dressers, entertainment centers, china hutches, and pianos. By asking our customers to be prepared for our arrival, we are able to do a more thorough cleaning and offer the customer the best value for our service.
No, Crystal Carpet Care will pre-treat all areas prior to cleaning; this is why we ask that you do not move furniture to the center of rooms or into main traffic areas. We do not want you to pre-treat as some products can actually cause more problems, hindering the successful removal of stubborn spots and stains.
Please have parking as close as possible to your home or business entrance available. We usually access your home through main doors or through garages.

After Your Appointment

Crystal Carpet Care is dedicated to keeping your carpet looking its best, but what can you do to maintain your beautiful carpets between cleanings? This page will offer some cleaning and maintenance tips so that your carpet will be as beautiful as the day you bought it for many years to come.
Depending on the carpet type, degree of soiling, humidity, air temperature, and air movement, your carpet will usually be completely dry within 12-24 hours. If soil/stain protection is applied after your cleaning, dry time will be slightly longer.
We do recommend keeping traffic to a minimum during the drying process. However, you may walk on your cleaned carpet while it is drying with clean socks, slippers, or booties which we will provide at your request.
If you would like to move some pieces into place right away, please ask our technician to leave you with styrofoam blocks or foil tabs, as you do not want to put any furniture on the damp fibers that may cause staining such as wooden legs or steel tips. Otherwise, wait until the fibers are totally dry to move furniture back in place.
